One of the key methods of writing braille is the slate and stylus. When you do this though, you cannot even do so in the same direction as pen and paper. With the right method, you will be able to learn this skill quickly.
The first thing to note is that you will hold the stylus with your pointer finger on top. You will then wrap your thumb around the side, creating a light ppinch. This is the grip for holding the stylus.
To start writing, you sill begin at the top right. You will also need to push down for every dot in backwards order. In other words, dot one is not at the top left but at the top right. Dot 3 will be at the bottom right.
This meghod of writing can be so benefitial. You can carry around the light slate and stylus almost anywhere with no problem. Taking notes by hand in a slow way can also benefit the learning process overall.
